New Oasis Album Due In May

28 January 2002

Reports in US magazines are suggesting that the new Oasis album will be released on May 6. Oasis are currently in the studio finalising the album which has a working title of Heathen Chemistry. There have been delays on the album as Noel hasn't been happy with brother Liam's approach to recording, suggesting his vocals on some tracks weren't up to standard.

Oasis' record company have refused to confirm a release date for the album. Meanwhile the band are set to play a warm-up gig at UK's Watford Coliseum on 5 February as a prelude to their Royal Albert Hall gig on 6 December in aid of the charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust. The gig sold out within an hour.
