Ricky Muscat, the western suburbs battler from Melbourne, who was kicked off Idol on Monday night, may have just found the lucky break that he is so desperate for.
Ricky, it seems, has found a big fan in former Savage Gardener Daniel Jones. Daniel and Ricky apparently hooked up at the ARIA Awards on Sunday night were the two were seen to be engaged in some serious discussions.
"He came up to me and said 'Ricky Muscat, love your work' and I was like, 'Daniel Jones from Savage Garden, wow'," said Ricky
"He said he was really keen to work with me, doing the R&B thing and that he'd just bought a recording studio."
Meanwhile, Ricky has lashed out at Idol judge Mark Holden claiming he was biased against him throughout the competition. "I don't mind getting bad comments," says Ricky of Mark's openly negative behavior towards him. "At least it gives me something to improve on. But he'd give me three words that would mean nothing, just putting me down anyway he could."
