Ozzy Osbourne may be a role model for the nu metal kids, but in reality the 53-year-old is thought of as your typical embarrassing dad. That's the verdict from Aimee Osbourne, the teenage daughter of the Black Sabbath frontman.
Nineteen-year-old Aimee has refused to take part in the fly-on-the-wall documentary, The Osbournes, which is currently taking US TV by storm. The eldest Osbourne daughter took the drastic steps to move out of the family Beverly Hills mansion for five weeks while filming was taking place.
'Aimee's the normal one,' Ozzy's wife Sharon said. 'She can't handle being around us lunatics all day.'
The Osbournes is currently drawing in over three million viewers during its run on MTV. The show follows the not so happy families tale within the Osbourne household, with only the master bedroom being off limits for the camera crew.
Eighteen-year-old Kelly Osbourne and her 17-year-old brother Jack are featured in the programme, with family arguments featured covering the usual subjects such as pocket money, homework and dysfunctional dogs.
'We're not your normal run of the mill Beverly Hills clientele,' said Ozzy. 'We use an awful lot of profanity.'
