Ricki-Lee Splits from Young Divas!

Australian Idol-spawned band The Young Divas announced at the weekend that Ricki-Lee has officially quit.

After months of speculation, Queenslander Ricki-Lee Coulter confirmed she is leaving the Young Divas to concentrate both on her solo career, and her wedding to fianc Jamie Baddington.

"I just couldn't do it all. I really had to get back to doing what I love doing and that's my solo career," Ricki said.

"The girls have been great, they understand completely. They know where I'm coming from."

Divas' management have insisted that the band, consisting of Kate DeAraugo, Emily Williams, and Paulini Curuenavuli will remain together despite Coulter's departure.

Rumour has it that 2006 Idol runner-up Jessica Mauboy may take Ricki-Lee's place in the band.
