Linkin Park Build House for Hurricane Katrina Victims

03 September 2007

Linkin Park are doing their bit for victims of the Hurricane Katrina tragedy by building a house!

They have launched an online competition aimed at recruiting fans to help them build a home for a family in need in one of the areas ravaged by the 2005 storm.

To enter, fans need to make a two minute video detailing what they have already done to improve the world.

Bassist David Farrell says, "We will help build alongside the family that will move into the house. We hope to remind people that there is still a lot of work to be done."

Linkin Park are very community minded. They are also donating a dollar from the sale of every ticket for their current 'Projekt Revolution' tour to the construction of homes for low-income families in America's Gulf Coast.
