Silverchair to Play Big Day Out!

Aussie rockers Silverchair have been announced on the line-up to the 2008 Big Day Out festival!

The second line-up announcement was made today, with Silverchair the top billing. The ARIA winners will join headliners Rage Against the Machine, and artists like Bjork, Grinspoon, Hilltop Hoods, and Sarah Blasko.

Other acts announced today include Operator Please, Augie March, Regurgitator, Karnivool, Carl Cox, and Josh Pyke!

Tickets for the Big Day Out have already sold out in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, but promoters are running a ticket ballot so you may be lucky enough to be pulled out of the list and offered a ticket purchase. Adelaide and Perth shows still have tickets available.
