Oasis Can't Roll With It

01 May 2002

Oasis accused fans of being "thieving bastards" at a show in the US on Friday, as they commented for the first time on the leaking of their new album.
Internet users have been able to download 'Heathen Chemistry' for weeks, even though the completed record is not expected to be released for two months.
The Gallagher brothers, performing at the 1,400 capacity Rock Joint in Las Vegas, took the opportunity to comment on the latest example of internet piracy.
Three times Liam and Noel made reference to the debacle, firstly when Liam introduced a new track - 'Force Of Nature' - with the comment: "This is off our new album, you thieving bastards".
Later, Liam used the same phrase before the group played another new song, 'Hung In A Bad Place', while Noel concluded the show with the words: "Thank you all for coming and for stealing the f*cking album".
Nice.
