Wolfmother to Split?

Sydney rockers Wolfmother could be on the verge of breaking up, according to rumours from the weekend's Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay.

The break-up rumours started after speculation backstage that bassist Chris Ross wanted to leave or take time off to spend more time with his family.

There's been no confirmation as to whether the band will get a new line up or if they will call it quits.

A spokesman from their record label Modular Recordings told Brisbane paper The Courier Mail: "It is no secret that there always has been a little bit of tension in the band but at the moment there is nothing to tell. No one is leaving and it's business as usual."
