Britney to Open MTV VMAs

MTV have finally made it official - Britney Spears will be opening this weekend's Video Music Awards in LA.

As to exactly what she's doing, they won't say, but the word is that she will definitely be co-presenting, after starring in TV promos with comedian and host Russell Brand (see below).
