The Red Hot Chili Peppers Making New Music!

Everyone's heart sank when Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante said this earlier this year:

"the official news is just that there's no plans to do anything and we're on a hiatus of an indefinite length. There's just absolutely no plans to do anything and, that's it. Yeah, we worked really hard for ten years and, you know, there's other things in life."

When will we ever hear new material from this great band again?

Well, it seems we mightn't have to wait as long as expected, as take40.com can exclusively reveal that the Chili's are already back at work!

Successful dance producer Paul Oakenfold revealed to us that he is currently in the studio working with the band on a tune for his latest album!

"I'm working on a track I've done with the Red Hot Chili Peppers (for my album)" he said. "I'm trying to find a sound for the record; I'm looking for dirtier rougher rhythms with strong songs".
