Perez Hilton Claims Assault by Will.i.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, He Hits Back

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton claims to have been assaulted by Will.i.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards after the Much Music Awards in Canada.
After the alleged assault, Perez begged for help from the police, and asked his followers on Twitter to help him out:
"Was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
Perez had been presenting an award at the ceremony, held in Toronto.
After copping criticism for seemingly Tweeting about the incident before calling the police, Perez claimed he did both.
After hearing the accusations, Will.i.Am has defended himself, posting a video online hitting back at Perez.

"instead of calling the police, you TWITTERED..." I laughed at that. It is true, it does sound like he's trying to get sympathy rather than help. I think Will's handling it well. (:

he called the police. then they didn't come. so he twittered ti so other people would call the police in their concern so someone would actually come out to see perez and attend the situation. sure will.i.am may not have been the one to physicaly attack him, but he did it verbally. violence isn't the answer. whoever is on the hot hits twitter has been agreeing that voilence isn't cool. regardless of who said what, perez was hit. there's a scar and like he says, he doesn't need the press. he gets over 10 million page views per day. he doesn't need any of that publicity cr*p. he wouldn't have done it himself or lied about who did it. I'm on team perez all the way
