Sonia Kruger/Todd McKenney Baby a Publicity Stunt?

Todd McKenney and Sonia Kruger have been un-contactable since their big interview in the current The Women's Weekly was published earlier this week, amid rumours that the whole thing was a publicity stunt to promote their ailing radio show.

In the article McKenney, who is gay, claims that he has approached Kruger to carry a child for him.

The pair have been friends for 26 years, after they met in Perth at the age of 17 and both starred in the Baz Luhrmann classic 'Strictly Ballroom'.

It also just so happens that the radio show they host together on Mix FM is suffering its worst ratings since they started it one and a half years ago. They are currently on a 2 week break.

They are both earning salaries of between $800,000 and $1 million, which has placed major pressure on the station.
