Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer - "I'm Not Dead!"

Twilight auther Stephenie Meyer has been forced to speak out and prove she's still alive after rumours swept the internet recently that she was dead!

The rumours claimed that the hit author was found dead on Tuesday at her home in Utah. It spread like wildfire on social networking site Twitter.

Meyer had a message posted on her website on Tuesday to assure the world that she is in fact still alive.

"Hey everybody, I just received a call from Stephenie and she wanted me to let everyone know that, contrary to some rumours that have recently started circulating, she is alive and well."

Stephenie joins a growing list of celebs who have fallen victim to death hoaxes recently, including Zach Braff, Jeff Goldbum and Hollywood hunk George Clooney.
