Brandon Flowers Mother Dies, But The Killers Will Still Play Melbourne & Gold Coast Good Vibrations

The Killers are still scheduled to perform at this weekend's Good Vibrations festival in Gold Coast and Melbourne, despite news that frontman Brandon Flowers' mother passed away last week.

Citing family illness as the reason, The Killers have cancelled various tour dates over the past few months, including their headlining slot at Sydney and Perth's Good Vibrations.

News today states that Brandon's mother Jean passed away on February 11 following a two year battle with brain cancer.

Despite this, Good Vibes organisers assure us that The Killers will still fulfil their performance commitments at both days this weekend.
