Kanye West Writes Song For Taylor Swift

06 September 2010

Kanye West has apparently written a song for Taylor Swift, in his continuing bid to apologise for his stint at last year's MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye shocked the crowd when he got on stage during Taylor's acceptance speech, protesting that Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' video should have won Best Female Video instead of Swift's 'You Belong With Me'.

West now claims he's written a song for Taylor. He wrote on his Twitter page: "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."

"I would never again in a million years do that. It is distasteful to cut people off as a general rule. What's the point of dressing tastefully if I'm going to act the complete opposite? When I woke up from the crazy nightmare I looked in the mirror and said, 'Grow up Kanye', I'm sorry Taylor."

West will be performing at the 2010 VMAs, coming up on September 12.
