Beyonce Saves Fan's Life

Beyonce Knowles has revealed her greatest achievement as a pop star came when she saved the life of a suicidal fan.

The Destiny's Child star told a UK newspaper about how she recently received a letter from a depressed girl.

"I got this tragic letter from a teenage girl saying how sad and lonely she was and how she wanted to die," explained Beyonce, who contacted the fan in a telephone call, as she considered killing herself.

She continued: "When I rang, she was just about to commit suicide because she felt so unimportant. But after we spoke, she said she felt visible again and decided she wanted to live after all."

"It's one of the things I'm most proud of in my career."
