2010 ARIA Nominations Announced - Full List Here!

Guy Sebastian, Angus & Julia Stone, Sia, Birds Of Tokyo and Washington lead the 2010 ARIA Award nominations with 6 a piece, as announced in a Sydney ceremony today.

Sebastian has scored a nomination for Best Male Artist, alongside the likes of John Butler and Paul Dempsey; and a handful of other nominations for his hit album Like It Like That.

Joining Guy in six nominations status are brother and sister duo Angus & Julia Stone, with their single Big Jet Plane up against The Temper Trap's Love Lost for Single Of The Year.

This year's ARIA Awards introduce a six new categories, including four new public voted awards, where music fans have the chance to vote in categories including Most Popular Australian Single, Most Popular Australian Album, Most Popular International Artist and Most Popular Australian Artist.

Fans can vote from October 14 at www.ariaawards.com.au/venergypopularvote, with first round voting wrapping up on October 28.

In another break from tradition, the sixteen genre category winners will be announced in the five nights leading up to the ARIA Awards ceremony on Sunday November 7 -- stay tuned for more details on this!

I will not be watching or supporting this year's aria awards!!! The nominees are a joke!! Nobody knows them and Vanessa Amorosi was yet again not recognized!!!!!!!! Waste of time, goodbye arias!!!
