Mariah Carey Is Pregnant

It seems there have been rumours about her pregnancies for years, but Mariah Carey is definitely pregnant this time!

Mariah and husband Nick Cannon appeared on US television show The Today Show and announced the exciting news.

She said, "Yes, we are pregnant. This is true. It's been a long journey. It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy."

Mariah also revealed that she tragically suffered a miscarriage not long after the couple married in 2008.

She said, "It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult. When that happened... I wasn't able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy."

Nick added, "It definitely brought us closer together. It strengthened our relationship so much... She handled it so well."

They baby is due in the first half of 2011.
