Cheryl Cole And Girls Aloud Advertising Russian Escort Agency

01 December 2010

British singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and her band Girls Aloud have found an old picture of themselves being used in a very unusual situation.

An extremely old photo of Girls Aloud is being used to advertise a Russian escort agency! And judging from the photo, we can almost understand why the agency would try to use this image.

Girls Aloud, who found fame on the British version of reality show Popstars, have undergone a dramatic image change in the years since the photo was taken. The five members are now considered style icons.

A source told The Mirror, "It's an embarrassingly old picture of the girls so the company figure they might get away with using it.

"But they failed to warn the band's record label they were using it and theoretically could get sued."

In the true British style of having a laugh, the girls have managed to see the funny side of the situation.

"Thankfully, Cheryl and co have seen the funny side. They've been joking that that Chezza's been jetting off to Moscow in Simon Cowell's private jet.

"But in all seriousness, this is exactly the kind of thing that needs to be monitored. People can't be going around using the girls' faces on their products willy-nilly."

Check out the photo below -- Cheryl's second from the left wearing that bizarre ripped up black dress. She looks completely different now!
