Aussie soap star Kym Valentine has checked into a private hospital to receive treatment for exhaustion.

The 'Neighbours' star, who plays Libby Kennedy, entered a treatment centre in Melbourne in December after suffering from a series of illnesses.

In 2008 Kym suffered from pneumonia as well as a collapsed lung. Then in July last year she was hospitalised with a blood clot.

However this hopefully won't slow her down. It is believed that she is in hospital to get her health back on track so that she can rejoin 'Neighbours' by the end of January.

A spokesperson told The Herald Sun, "Kym has taken the best possible care of herself over the past few months following a number of serious illnesses."

Get well soon Kym! 'Neighbours' wouldn't be the same without you.
