In honour of Australia Day, we decided to check out some Australian artists who have made it big in the US and overseas!
We love our Aussie singers and bands, but what does the rest of the world think of them? Which ones have made an impact in places like Los Angeles and London?
There's some great Aussie talent out there, and a lot of it is getting recognised on the world stage.
Check out our list of Australian artists who are international success stories:
Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue is Australia's most successful female singer. She's huge in the UK, had a string of hits in the US and is an international sensation. Kylie won a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording for 'Come Into My World', proving just how popular she is all over the world. Who would have thought that a girl from 'Neighbours' would do so well?

INXS
INXS have to be one of the most famous Australian bands of all time. Led by Michael Hutchence, they were a force to be reckoned with in the 80s, with songs like 'Need You Tonight' and 'New Sensation' become hits around the world. An Idol style reality show to find their next lead singer was screened around the globe in 2005, cementing their place on the world stage.

Savage Garden
Savage Garden were huge in Australia in the 90s, and they also had a string of hits in America and around the world! 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' and 'I Knew I Loved You' both went to number one on the US charts, which was an incredible achievement for the Brisbane duo.

Men At Work
It might sound a little bit cheesy now, but Men At Work's song 'Down Under' was a worldwide hit, hitting number one on the US charts. Their second single 'Who Can It Be Now' also went to number one, as did their album. They won a Grammy for Best New Artist. And 'Down Under' is still an iconic song!
AC/DC
Where would the world be without songs like 'You Shook Me All Night Long' and 'Thunderstruck'? AC/DC's album 'For Those About to Rock We Salute You' went to number one in the US in 1981, and they had plenty of success both before and after that. They recently recorded the soundtrack for the film 'Iron Man 2'.
