Mariah Carey's Adults Only Baby Shower

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon celebrated the impending arrival of their twins with a baby shower in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The adults only baby shower was attended by celebrities like Randy Jackson from American Idol, and featured a blue and pink theme.

Mariah and Nick are expecting a baby girl and a baby boy, so the shower was decorated with pink roses, blue hydrandeas and pink and blue balloons.

"Mariah had the best time at her shower," a source told People. "She was very touched by how nicely everything turned out and excited about all the generous gifts she received. She has been feeling a bit tired and worn out lately, but the shower was an event that she really enjoyed and that made her very happy. Now she can't wait to meet her baby twins!"

And Mariah took to her website to thank her guests for attending.

"Thank you SO much to all who came to the baby shower last night and all who couldn't be there but sent such beautiful presents and sweet messages!" Mariah wrote on her website. "Still haven't really opened all the gifts but seeing so many people who came from all over the world to be there with us was the BEST gift we could ask for!"
