Nicolas Cage Arrested For Domestic Violence

Actor Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans over the weekend, after a taxi driver reported a street argument between Nic and his wife.

Police were called to break up the fight between the couple, and Nic now faces domestic violence charges.

According to TMZ, Nic was drunk and refused to go home quietly when police officers told him to. He dared the police to arrest him, and they subsequently did.

He was booked on one count of domestic violence and one count of disturbing the peace and released on bail.

The drama comes just a day after it was discovered that he has been targeted by the International Revenue Service (IRS) for failing to pay taxes on gifts he issued over the last seven years.

He reportedly owes the US government $600,000 in unpaid taxes.
