Ashlee Simpson has reportedly moved on from estranged husband Pete Wentz -- the star was spotted with 'Boardwalk Empire' actor Vincent Piazza.

Ashlee and Pete split earlier this year, but have remained friends for the sake of their son Bronx.

But now Ashlee is back on the dating scene, and she was spotted kissing Vincent in New York!

"They were laughing and chatting," a witness told Us Weekly. "She'd stop to kiss him; she couldn't take her eyes off him."

The couple were set up by a mutual friend.

"Vincent's a chill guy, very artsy, the quiet type," a friend says. "He likes her."
