Rihanna's Relatives Want Her To Forgive Chris Brown

We have all seen the shocking photos of Rihanna after she was attacked by her then boyfriend Chris Brown. But that hasn't stopped her cousins from saying that they would like to see a reconciliation between the star and her ex.

Rihanna's cousin Nicola Alleyne recently spoke to the 'National Enquirer', saying that she thought Chris Brown was a nice guy and that the two should get back together.

In the interview Nicola said, "Chris made a mistake, but I forgive him. I think he got hit too. Knowing Rihanna like I do, it was a fight. But I would love them to be back together. I really think Chris still loves her."

Another of Rihanna's cousins also spoke out saying that "I loved Chris Brown... I don't know what happened, but I would love for them to get back together. Everybody makes mistakes."

The comments are sure to cause a stir, as critics were very vocal about the attack back when it occurred in 2009.

At the time there were also reports that the incident was not an isolated one, with many articles emerging that implied that the attack was just the gruesome conclusion to a relationship that was becoming increasingly violent.
