Nickelback have announced that they will release their seventh studio album 'Here And Now' on November 21 this year.
Nickelback is one the biggest rock bands in the world having sold almost 50 million albums worldwide. Since their 2001 breakthrough hit song "How You Remind Me," Nickelback has sent 18 singles rocketing into various charts.
The new album, which is the follow-up to the band's 2008 sixth album 'Dark Horse', was recorded in Mountain View Studios in Vancouver and saw the band themselves acting as producers.
Nickelback have also announced that they will preview 'Here And Now' with two singles.
The tracks, which are titled 'Bottom's Up' and 'When We Stand Together', will both be released in quick succession before the LP. 'Bottom's Up' will come out on October 2, with 'When We Stand Together' following on November 6.
Frontman Chad Kroeger said of the album:
"We're four people who love making music, the way we like to make it. We entered the studio this year with a vision, and it all came together. We're extremely happy with the results, and can't wait to share them with our fans."
The band have indicated that they will be undertaking an extensive world tour in 2012, with UK shows extremely likely to be a part of their schedule.
