Superstar singer Mariah Carey has revealed she refused to stop working even during the later stages of her pregnancy, when she was ordered to stay in bed!
Mariah even had a studio set up by her bed for a spontaneous recording session!
The diva gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe in April, but carrying two babies took its toll on the singer and meant she was bedridden towards the end of her third trimester.
However, rather than taking the opportunity to rest completely, Carey summoned her music pals to her bedside to record a song she wrote during her pregnancy.
She told Fuse, "I have done one song - I was pregnant when I was writing it. I was in so much pain. I was laying on this bed and we had a studio set up in the room.
"JD (Jermaine Dupri) was there and Randy Jackson was playing bass live and it was just this whole moment. I love it a lot."
