Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May have revealed that they are in talks with America Idol star Adam Lambert about becoming the iconic group's new front man.
The rockers teamed up with Lambert for the 2009 American Idol finale and again recently at the MTV Europe Awards in November, where they performed a medley of hits 'The Show Must Go On', 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are The Champions'.
And now Taylor has expressed his desire to see Lambert as their new front man.
The drummer told Billboard.com, "He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that's great. We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed just yet but we're talking about live dates. It could be very exciting."
But Lambert could have competition to the coveted gig, with former Free and Bad Company front man Paul Rodgers expressing his interest in reteaming with the band, after touring with Queen from 2005-2009 for a massive world tour.
Stay tuned!
