What does it take to make a YouTube hit these days? Apparently just five people playing a famous song on one guitar. Easy right?

In the latest viral video from YouTube, singer Sarah Blackwood and Canadian indie band Walk Off the Earth have squeezed together around an acoustic guitar to cover Gotye's now famous track Somebody That I Used to Know.

In this amazing video, they can be seen using every inch of the instrument, each person assigned to a different section. Who said you can't share a guitar?

Kimbra who originally featured on the track, even gave the video her seal of approval and took to Facebook to voice her approval.

"This is truly awesome! Now THAT'S team work," she posted.

The video has been praised worldwide and has resulted in a surge of interest in musos involved.

Russell Crowe even tweeted that he wants the band to cover his back catalogue! Not sure if that would improve Walk Off the Earth's career or damage it.

Check out the video below -- What do you think? We love the guy on the far right especially for his sporadic strumming!
