WATCH: Elton John Slams Madonna On The Golden Globes Red Carpet

16 January 2012

Elton John managed to drop a very public F-bomb within minutes of walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes today, swearing when asked about Madonna's chances against him in the best song category.

Speaking on the red carpet, the British singer was asked what he thought of the other nominees in the category including Madonna.

"We've got a lot of competition... Madonna hasn't got a F**king chance," Elton declared.

Laughing, the interviewer joked: "Those are fighting words."

"No, they're accurate words," replied the star, to more laughter.

Wow -- he's a straight shooter that's for sure!

Madonna heard about the banter of course, with the same interviewer telling her shortly after: "Elton had a choice word about you ... He said you don't have an F-ing chance."

Lady Madge, who is nominated for 'Masterpiece' from W.E., politely commented "Oh damn him... May the best man win."

Madonna got the best revenge ever a couple of hours later though, as she went on to beat Elton John for the best song Golden Globe award.
