Brody Jenner Slams Rumours That He's Broken Up With Avril Lavigne

Brody Jenner has dispelled all the rumours that he and Avril Lavigne have called it quits, taking to Twitter to vent his frustration.

Avril and Brody have been dating since the end of 2009, shortly after Lavigne split from her husband, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley.

Earlier this week editors at Life & Style magazine reported the stars had split ways, but Jenner has spoken out to slam the rumour.

In a post on Twitter.com, he writes, "It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories. Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her."

Avril was quick to back up his comments, re-tweeting his message on her own Twitter page, before adding, "Luv u 2!!! BrodyJenner."
