Beyonce seems to have it all. An incredible career, the perfect husband and now a beautiful baby girl.
But one thing Beyonce doesn't have is a monument in her hometown honouring her contribution to the music world. But that is all about to change!
Developers at Armdeonce Ventures are designing a statue to be erected in the singer's hometown of Houston, Texas- which will highlight the singer's life and showcase memorabilia from her career.
CEO of the company, Marcus Mitchell explained the idea behind the monument came about as people from her home town wanted to see the singer honoured while she was still alive.
Mitchell said, "Our biggest thing is a lot of people get honoured when they die, so our goal is to why not honour people why they're still here? We felt as though it's her time to be honoured. We wanted to construct, like, a massive hall so as the doors open, if you donated to the monument, you'll have a separate nameplate."
He went on to add, "There will be clips of Beyonce with Destiny's Child and wardrobe like a mini museum. We've gotten support from the city of Houston, from the mayor."
According to organisers proceeds from the site will be donated to a number of charitable organisations, including Music for America and Beyonce's Survivor Foundation, which offers relief to victims of natural disasters.
According to WENN bosses are hoping to unveil the project on 4 September (2012) - the same day as Beyonce's birthday.
