INTERVIEW: Noel Gallagher Admits 'I Only Do This Cos My Wife Threatened To Divorce Me'

We were lucky enough to chat to veteran muso Noel Gallagher backstage at the Big Day Out this week, and he dished the dirt on what it's like to be a famous (or infamous) rockstar!

The Take 40 team wanted to know, now that Noel plays in the High Flying Birds and not Oasis, have his rider requests downsized, or is he still living the high life?

"Oh na the rider's still the same." Noel revealed. "I've never understood people that waste (rider) money on flowers and kittens, and making sure that their dressing room is the right shade of pink.... No, (I) spend it all on booze."

He also admitted he launched his solo career because his wife wanted to get him out of the house and threatened to divorce him if he continued to mooch around!
