Avril Lavigne the latest person who is allegedly in talks to become a judge on The X Factor US.
The Canadian singer believes her experience as a singer from an early age will make her the perfect candidate to mentor the US show's young talent.
Avril is now in negotiations with the show's producers, who have two judging slots to fill for the show's second series, after Simon Cowell fired Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
Lavigne already is connected to the hit FOX talent show as LA Reid, one of its judges, signed her to Arista Records in 2000.
The 27-year-old also performed her hit song Complicated on the "X Factor" final in December last year, in a duet with finalist Chris Rene.
Avril is not alone in her quest though, Britney Spears was said to be keen to join the judging panel, while Janet Jackson, Leann Rimes, Pink and Mariah Carey were also rumoured to be potential replacements!
