It's official - the boys from Coldplay are headed back to Australia in November this year!
Front man Chris Martin confirmed the news himself on 'Sunrise' this morning but said 'we haven't finalised the Australia specific versions of the show... we're excited.'
The band will play at yet to be confirmed dates in "outdoor arenas", and to make things more interactive, fans will be given LED wristbands to create a light show that will be controlled by the band.
Of the highly technical show Chris Martin commented "It's a little self-indulgent on our part but we love the way it looks when thousands of people all have lights on them... It's such an amazing thing to be a part of."
Coldplay have long been rumoured to be coming back this year, after playing Splendour In The Grass festival in 2011, and cancelling a promotional tour in Feb 2012.
Stay tuned to take40.com, we'll post the Mylo Xyloto tour dates when they're released in the next two months.
