Lindsay Lohan Hosts Saturday Night Live - With A New Face?

05 March 2012

Love her or hate her, Lindsay Lohan definitely did well to get a gig hosting Saturday Night Live over the weekend!

Although her performance has received mixed reviews, Lindsay helped orchestrate the second highest most watched SNL episode of the season!

Lindsay did a host of skits throughout the show, including re-enacting some of her jail time in one!

She even started off the show by joking about her publicly documented struggles.

"Everybody here believes in you. We wouldn't have you back otherwise," cast member Kristen Wiig said as she hugged Lohan, which then turned into a pat-down.

When Lohan asked if she was being searched, Wiig replied, "No, I'm a lesbian now."

"Been there, done that," Lohan retorted - in reference to her romance with Samantha Ronson.

Amongst the criticism she's received, The New York Post said she stumbled through her lines on Saturday night even when she was clearly reading them off of cue cards.

Despite the backlash, sources have told TMZ that Lilo was proud of her hosting gig. Some last-minute changes were made to the episode - such as the dropping of a musical monologue - but Lindsay feels she did the best she could do.
