Vanessa Amorosi Recovers From Injury And Performs In Melbourne

08 March 2012

Take 40 fave Vanessa Amorosi hit the track yesterday to perform, after falling from a horse last month.

The talented singer belted out some of her biggest hits to the Victoria Racing Club crowd, and seemed to be fully recovered from her injury.

30 year old Vanessa fell while riding with friends on her property, east of Melbourne, and had to pull out of a subsequent performance at Melbourne Zoo earlier this month. That gig has been rescheduled to March 18th.

Internal injuries were suspected from the fall, but no broken bones.

The Herald Sun surprisingly reported there were a few disapproving looks towards Vanessa's tatts at the Racing Club, as the venue is known for it's strict dress code and the crowd was "less than impressed by (Vanessa's) heavily inked bare shoulders."

Hopefully her singing impressed enough for everyone!

While she performed perfectly yesterday, she still felt too unwell to talk to media or guests.

We hope she gets back to 100% soon!
