You might remember Die Antwoord from Future Music Festival this year. They are a hip hop/pop/elector group hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, and they are known for their raw personality and somewhat crude lyrics.
To elaborate, when the Take 40 team last saw them perform, they had a 3 metre high blow up penis on stage with them.
MTV News chatted to the controversial group this week, and they had a few choice words to drop about our very own Mother Monster -- Lady Gaga!
Lead singer Ninja (real name Watkin Tudor Jones) revealed "Our stuff is like f*cking hardcore like solid heavyweight! It's not like weak, superficial sh*t. You know?"
Although the band was signed to Interscope Records initially, they left the label after the executives allegedly tried to turn them into something they were not!
"I think they thought we were just like a weird, strange act," says Ninja continued. "They were looking at Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas and that type of sh*tty pop music, and were thinking we could like twist into that."
So we're guessing they're not a fan of Gagalicious tunes?!
"Lady Gaga asked us to tour with her and we were like, um, no thanks."
Do you think Lady Gaga really asked Die Antwoord to tour with her?
