15 March 2012

Australian artists including Jimmy Barnes, John Butler and Missy Higgins have all signed on to a charity campaign that supports fellow struggling musicians.

Iconic rocker Jimmy Barnes is among a number of famous Australian artists who have filmed an online advert for Support Act, an organisation that provides funds and support for musicians and technical crews who are sick or broke.

Other famous faces include The Living End rocker Chris Cheney, Shannon Noll and singer/songwriter Josh Pyke- which all feature in clip posted on Youtube.

The campaign was started by music manager John Woodruff- the man behind Australian act Savage Garden.
