Fergie In Talks To Become X Factor Judge

According to recent reports Fergie has added her name to the race for the new X Factor judges in the US.

Sources have told Life & Style magaze that Fergie has had "some conversations" with the producers and Simon Cowell, and that she is desperate to fill one of the spots left after Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were ousted from the show.

If the reports are true Fergie could be facing off Britney Spears for one of the two vacancies- after Cowell has announced that he wants a man and a woman to join him and Antonio 'L.A' Reid on the panel.

A source has told the publication, "It's in the early stages, but Fergie's the one who approached the producers about joining the panel."

It is unknown if Britney is still in talks for the role as well.
