We all know reality television loves a good underdog, and like Paul Potts and Susan Boyle before him, Jonathan Antoine is the latest unsuspecting cab off the ranks.
The young 17 year old wowed the crowds (and Simon Cowell!) on Britain's Got Talent a few days ago, singing a stellar rendition of The Prayer with his singing friend Charlotte, and left the judges floored!
OK we're not really saying he looks like SuBo, but you can grasp the similarities. Both seemed shy and unassuming, both are self conscious about their appearance (as Jonathan admitted in the audition piece below) and both do not conform to the visual stereotype of most other performers.
We love him for that.
Check out the performance below. Do you think Jonathan could be as successful as SuBo?

Ash is vivacious and energetic with an infectious passion for all things music. Having presented shows on Channel TEN, Ash is currently also hosting Channel Eleven's weekend music show The Loop.
Ash joins Angus O'Loughlin as co-host, who joined Take 40 in August 2013 and added "It's like who's going to be the next Dr. Who (well maybe not) but this is big news and big thrill to be part of something so large."
Take 40 welcomed Angus O'Loughlin to the show in 2013, joining the nation's longest running and most respected music chart show Take 40 Australia.
Currently also hosting Today Network's 'The Bump', Angus' cheeky sense of humour and passion for music makes him the perfect complement to the Take 40 brand.
