Adam Levine Confident About His Acting Debut

04 April 2012

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has revealed that he is confident that he will ace his acting debut on US series American Horror Story- because he will essentially be playing a version of himself.

Adam has admitted that despite his lack of acting experience, creator Ryan Murphy was happy to cast him in the second series of the hit show.

When asked about his role, he told EOnline.com, "I don't know how much I can divulge, because Ryan (Murphy) is very under wraps."

Adam added, "It's going to be fun. I told (Murphy) I really didn't know what I was doing but he didn't seem to really care. So I'm just going to go and try to (act). I think I'm going to be kind of playing myself so hopefully it will be easy."

It has previously been reported that Levine would play a "contemporary character" as one half of a couple called "The Lovers".

Who will be tuning in for this?
