Jessie J And Jason Derulo Got Closer Over Neck Injury

05 April 2012

Jessie J and Jason Derulo have become closer after Derulo fractured his neck in January (2012), when Jessie offered up some advice after suffering her own debilitating injury last year (2011).

Jason fell on his head while practising a high-energy routine for a show and doctors discovered he had fractured a vertebrae in his neck.

Derulo was forced to scrap his tour and is wearing a protective brace while he recovers- but the upside of the injury came when Jessie J reached out to singer after she heard of his predicament.

Jason told Britain's Daily Star, "My accident brought us together because she understood what I was going through. She was able to give me some advice and help me through the situation. Jessie is a sweetheart and has been really helpful."

He also revealed that he hopes to team up with Jessie in the future, adding, "We spoke about a collaboration so we'll do some work when she gets to L.A. this month and see what happens. That would be amazing. I'd love to have her on my album."

What do you guys think? Would a Jessie J/Jason Derulo collaboration work?
