Nicki Minaj: 'Madonna Is My Inspiration'

Nicki Minaj has spoken out about one of her biggest inspirations- collaborator and friend Madonna!

In a recent interview with US TV show Today, Nicki revealed that Madonna was a major inspiration for her latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

She said, "She's reinvented not only herself by pop culture. What inspires me about Madonna is that she's able to balance this, all of this, with her family and personal life."

She added, "When I was rehearsing with her for the Superbowl, I said how do you do this with, you know and your children are there, and she's a great mom and you know she's just everything!"

Nicki also spoke about her performance with Madonna at the Superbowl, stating that she was terrified about the number of the people watching!

She said, "That's what made me so nervous! Right before I went on because I kept hearing the number one hundred million in my head, over and over and over... at one point I was literally about to freeze up!"
