Frances Bean Cobain: 'Twitter Should Ban My Mother'

15 April 2012

Frances Bean Cobain has publicly reacted to her mother Courtney Love's controversial comments that Dave Grohl tried to seduce her.

Love made the accusations earlier this week on her private Twitter.com account, claiming that Frances' roommate had told her that Grohl had "hit on Frances".

Now Frances has released a statement to Rolling Stone to deny that any such event happened, and calling on Twitter.com to cancel her mother's account.

The statement read, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn."

"I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother."

Earlier this week Dave Grohl, who used to play in Nirvana with Frances' father Kurt Cobain, also denied the accusations, stating, "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."
