Angelina Jolie Gushes About Ex Billy Bob In New Book

Newly engaged Angelina Jolie has recently penned a touching foreword for ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton for his memoirs.

Angelina split from Billy over a decade ago amid rumours that he didn't want to be a father to her son Maddox- but that hasn't stopped the actress from singing Billy's praises in the touching script.

Writing the foreword for The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts, which Life & Style magazine has obtained, Jolie writes, "He (Thornton) has an unmatchable wit and can make you laugh until your face hurts," adding the star "has a big beautiful heart."

Jolie also praised Billy for his intellect stating, "To be with him is like being with a mad mathematician. He is constantly counting and repeating."

She ends her dedication with a touching tribute to Thornton, adding, "Some people walk through life able to quiet the voices in their heads. He can't. And I, and everyone else who knows him well, we love him for it. I know one thing: The world would certainly be a hell of a lot more dull if that man weren't in it."
