Hip hop producer Mike Dean has confirmed that Jay-Z and Kanye West are looking to return to the studio soon to record a sequel to their smash hit album Watch The Throne.
Jay and Kanye released the project last summer (2011) and are currently touring it in the UK at the moment -- with Jay-Z teasing fans about the possibility of recording another joint project with Kanye late last year (2011).
He told MTV.com, "We - I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode - we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye, and a Throne album next year... We really found our zone."
Now Mike reveals work on the Watch The Throne follow-up will commence once West and his G.O.O.D. Music label artists finish their upcoming compilation.
He told QuietLunch.com, "I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album, of course, and Watch The Throne 2 - it's not started yet, but it's coming."
However fans may have to face an extended wait if comments made by Jay-Z recently about struggling to find inspiration after the birth of daughter Blue Ivy ring true.
He said, "I thought I would be more inspired with all the new feelings and everything that I'd have to write about, but it really happened the other way. I just really wanna hang out with her. I just wanna enjoy those moments for a bit and I'm sure that feeling of music will come back to me."
Hopefully the feeling comes back soon! Are you excited for a follow up to Watch The Throne?
