Kimbra's Album Vows Debuts At Number 14 In America!

Following what we now dub the 'Gotye' effect, Kimbra's album Vows, which was released just last week in the US has debuted at number 14 on the Billboard Charts.

Kimbra is also sitting pretty at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with Gotye with Somebody That I Used To Know -- which is in it's astonishing 21st week in the US charts.

Hearing of the US success of her album Kimbra said, "It means a lot to have my album recognised in America at this level, it's been an amazing experience to see it all come into fruition especially after the time, energy and effort it took to complete."

She added, "I'm now really excited to be touring the US and sharing these songs with people one on one, it's cathartic to have them transcend from being my experiences to now being someone else's."

Kimbra is currently touring North America with Foster The People after completing a sold out tour of Australia.

She will be back on our shores in July for Splendour In The Grass.
