Kelly Osbourne Hangs Up On Mum Over Engagement Rumours

One time wild child Kelly Osbourne has hung up on her mother Sharon on live television after The Talk co-host called her to quiz her about recent engagement rumours.

Kelly sparked reports she was taking her relationship with vegan chef Matthew Mosshart to the next level on Sunday night (3 June) after she was snapped sporting a diamond on her ring finger as she hosted the Miss USA Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The next day a representative for Kelly insisted she was "not engaged", but it appears even her mum Sharon Osbourne wasn't convinced - so she called Kelly to make sure the proposal rumours weren't true.

Sharon's The Talk co-host Julie Chen dared her to phone Kelly live on air to get to the bottom of the reports - and she took up the challenge.

When her daughter answered the phone from London, Sharon asked, "Darling, are you engaged again?" - only to be met with silence as a fed-up Kelly hung up in disbelief.

Sharon Osbourne revealed that she didn't know for sure about her daughter's relationship status, but admitted she wouldn't be surprised if the engagement rumours were true as the 27 year old has been engaged three times before.

Sharon said, "I have, of hers - I swear to you - in a little plastic bag, three engagement rings. They (her engagements) don't last!"

But Sharon insists she would be happy if Kelly settled down with Mosshart: "She does (like him). I like this one. He's American and he's a pastry chef and I like that because he makes me cakes."

Kelly was previously set to wed model Luke Worrall, but she dumped him in 2010 amid allegations of infidelity.
