Beyonce was being a supportive wife and looked to be having the time of her life at hubby Jay-Z's performance at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend on Saturday night (23 June) -- that was until she started getting heckled by the crowd!
Jay-Z's security guards allegedly became involved in a ruckus when one fan verbally abused Beyonce as she got her groove on in the moshpit.
The drunken festival goer reportedly started yelling at Beyonce when he spotted her -- forcing her to alert Jay's bodyguards who whisked her to safety.
A source told the Daily Star, 'Whatever was said, it really upset Beyonce. Jay-Z's bodyguards weren't going to have any of it. They waded in and there was a massive ruckus.
'It got pretty ugly and Beyonce was whisked away so she wouldn't get caught in the middle of it.'
However the incident failed to but a dampener on Beyonce's night, who happily danced and sang along to her husband's hits with the 50,000 strong crowd.
Jay-Z was joined onstage during his set by Rihanna, M.I.A and finally Kanye West -- with the duo performing their smash hit N****'s In Paris.
Jay reportedly joked, 'Make your family proud," as he launched into the song for a second time in a row -- with Beyonce and friends forming a mosh circle and dancing and singing while wearing a massive grin.
But not everyone was a fan of the couple's performance, with British rocker Bernard Butler (former Suede guitarist) calling Beyonce an "insincere PR trip" and Jay and Kanye "40 year old A&R men who can't dance".
